Today we celebrate the birthday of favourite book character, Percy Jackson, because why not and my kids said so. Why blue? His favourite colour is blue – his mom makes him everything in blue, plus, there’s the fact that his dad being Poseidon (God of the Sea).

Blue cupcakes were on order so we got creative with blue spirulina powder from Nutra Organics. Five stars from all taste testers in our little lockdown circle. As Annabeth would say, “Happy Birthday, Seaweed Brain!”
