What a treat we had this past weekend in Dinner Plain. Not only gorgeous mountains, sunshine and trail walking but also, snowfall. We’ve seen a dusting of snow twice since moving to Australia, once in the Snowy Mountains village of Thredbo and then once again in the Blue Mountains. Each time was exciting but what made this precipitation even more special was the accumulation. The ability to have snow balls fights, build a snowman, and the powdery white stuff clinging to all of the trees and plants – it was divine.
That’s so cool you got snow. One doesn’t normally associate snow with Australia
Indeed, it was such a treat for all of us! Before living here, I would have had no clue that Oz got snow ever.
