Walking and Cycling in Hyde Park

I enjoy a nice peaceful walk through Hyde Park as much as anyone. And one of the great things about Hyde Park is that it’s huge and you can walk all over it–paths, fields, etc. (you get the idea).

I also enjoy riding my bike through the park. Or around it at least. Bikes are only allowed on essentially a single path around the park. This is why it’s just a touch frustrating to cyclists when people are walking side-by-side down the bike lane and show no inclination to get out of the way.

So, walkers, take this information as you will. I won’t ride my bike through the long grass and interrupt your afternoon frolic if you make way when I’m barrelling down the bike path. Deal?
